Choose JOY above all.
“There are so many things about cancer that are beyond our control, but how we react is entirely up to us. We are in full control of our own attitude and cancer has no power over joy. I’m going to say that again, cancer has no power over joy. It cannot defeat your spirit. Choose to be joyful and glad that you are alive. Lean into the Lord. Put your trust in Him and never give up hope.”

These are the words I won’t forget every time I thought of Tita Remy.

I met Tita Remy, when I was only 19 years old. I was a newbie, young, naïve and was living independently in Dubai. Thankfully, I met her children Ian and Lalaine, became friends and the rest is history. They were my second family when I used to live in Dubai and still keep in touch from time to time..

Tita Remy was a strong woman, knew exactly what she wanted! What brings me pleasure or inspires me in both mind and spirit, is watching a woman of strength in action. A woman who is steeled to confront the challenges she is facing or standing with those she loves. That was Tita Remy for me…

Nothing is more beautiful than a woman of strength who offers hope because she has found it to one caught in the undertow of finances or even illness. Nothing is more beautiful than a woman of strength who will love their child unconditionally despite their questionable life choices. That was Tita Remy for me…
She was an epitome of a strong woman for me and I will always look up to her.
She will always be an inspiration to many including me who had a chance to witness her greatness as a person, a mother, an empowered woman to look up to!
She will be missed by many.. I miss you Tita Remy.. xoxo in heaven…
